CONTAINS EXPLICIT SCENES BETWEEN M/M, M/M/M & M/M/M/M. Description: What do you do when nobody wants you…..? Harry was tired of being used, abused and taken for granted by men. Surely he deserved better than to be cast out like last night’s leftovers? All his life he’d been treated like that. When he’d come out to his parents about being gay, they’d reacted by throwing him out, not wanting to acknowledge a homosexual son. They even went so far as to pay him a monthly allowance to keep him out of their lives. What was wrong with him? Why didn’t anyone want him? One night at the club after being dumped by his boyfriend, he thought he might find the answer in the bottom of his wine glass, or at the very least, drown his sorrows in it. They say when one door closes another opens or something like that……. Enter Louis; tall, handsome, confident and sexy. Louis makes Harry feel like he’s never felt before. He also makes him want to break all his own rules, deciding a one night stand with this stunning man is a good way to get over a broken heart or distract him from it at least. The attraction between them is instant, their passion intense and Harry realises every sexual encounter he’s ever had is insignificant in comparison to how Louis makes him feel. Louis is older, wiser, so much more experienced than Harry. He also has a wild past, a past Harry can only imagine. The emotions he feels around Louis both give him strength and bring out his insecurities. He can’t think around him, so powerful is the hold this man has over him. Maybe he should listen to the advice of his best friend Nora and stop over thinking things. Advice that sounds great in theory, but…. That might have worked until Harry discovers Louis is keeping secrets from him; secrets that will drive them apart if Louis can’t open up to him. When the truth finally comes out, Harry is left reeling. He’s also left with an important decision. Cut Louis from his life and have his heart broken or stay with him and help him face all that troubles him, knowing that in the end, everything that matters to him may be lost. ...

This is a review for Dial a Stud (book 2 Louie's Story) on behalf of A Book Lovers Emporium. You'd be forgiven for thinking with a title of Dial A Stud, this book could be a little preconceived- BUT you would be so wrong. This book is so much more. First of all M/M is one of my favourite genre, secondly the story is a solid excellent one and thirdly the sex was off the scale scorching hot!!! It is very well written, if not slightly repetitive where things were repeated when they didn't need to be. Thankfully this cleared quickly and led to an amazing story of Louie and Harry. Harry's partner of a year breaks the relationship off quite suddenly and Harry goes to a club to drown his sorrows in alcohol. Harry is shy and has had the confidence knocked out of him by previous boyfriends and his parents in particular. Along comes Louis who is gorgeous, sexy and older than Harry and full of confidence, enough for the both of them. They are intensely attracted to one another almost immediately and Louie takes Harry under his wing so to speak. Things escalate quicker than Harry would like but Louie is hiding a massive secret that could potentially blow Harry's world apart. Will Louie be Harry's saving grace, or is his wild promiscuous past too much for Harry to cope with. Only time will tell. Nora is Harry's best female friend and they have known each other since childhood. Nora has no filter on her mouth which leads to some funny and enjoyable moments along the way throughout this book.I can honestly say I adored all the characters and they were well written and easy to read about. This book was an absolute joy to read and I would thoroughly recommend it. M/M is not for everyone but if you like to dabble, then this is the book for you, without a doubt !!

Dial A Stud: Louis' Story by J. A Melville4 starsM/M RomanceTriggers: Illness, deathI was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads. This was quite the story. Not only was it emotional, I became engrossed in the mystery that was Louis. While I will admit that I thought the story began quite slowly, I stuck with it and am so glad that I did.At first, I was very wary of Louis. He seemed so flighty - almost like he was looking to just hook up with Harry rather than pursue something real. Because he was so mysterious about his health, job and where he was jetting off to at random times, I began to really dislike Louis.Harry was just an all around sweet guy. I really enjoyed his life and reading about his friend, Nora. She was a great secondary character and I loved her business! Harry was almost too forgiving, in my opinion. He was understanding but also was able to learn to stand up for himself. This book was a great read that was emotionally charged. I had a few issues with little things in the story, but not so much that it detracted from my enjoyment.

Rating: 4.5*I have to admit I was expecting this to be a down and dirty read. I got this and and so much more as well. There was something else beautifully intertwined between the down and dirty moments.Harry's self-confidence and self-worth is virtually non-existent after a series of relationships, with men that have used him and discarded him, have left him broken. Meeting Louis, owner of Dial A Stud, is life changing for him. With Louis' attention, he starts to gain in confidence and recognise his own self-worth. But it becomes increasingly difficult to build a life with Louis when he is keeping secrets from Harry. The irony is that, even though Louis helps Harry realise his own self-worth, Louis himself has his own self-worth issues. Can they both come through this and realise that they are each important and worthy of love?I loved their journey of self-discovery. It was hot, sexy, intense and emotional. It is certainly well worth a read.***Reviewed for LBM Book Blog***

This book was not for me. I think it had potential and there were moments when the emotions sucked me in but overall I had several issues with it. Louis’ story could have been heart-wrenching and profound but it fell short.I’ll admit that I skimmed a lot because I just wasn’t into the book or I had too much. The dialog was undeveloped and seemed a bit robotic/stiff at times. I felt like the author spent more time developing the descriptions of the scenes than the dialog between the characters. Harry was extremely immature and I understand he’s been hurt and mistreated but the lack of self-confidence wore on me as the story progressed. These men were in each other’s presence 3-4 times, primarily for sex, and they were head over heels in love. I am not a fan of instalove.Nora, the GBF of Harry, was too over the top for me, again she seemed like a forced character. I learned more about Harry and Louis from her conversations with them…almost like she was the story teller for them. It didn’t work for me.

When I read this story, I felt like I was reading about myself. I related so much to Harry. I was scared about how much our personalities matched. I am the female version of him. I really loved how he evolved. How he changed for better. No matter what you think and believe, the fate takes you in their hands and turn you an entirely new person. I really loved Louis. OMG he almost broke my heart. I wanted to slap him, kiss and tell it's going to be okay. This book is about love, loyalty, regret, guilt, redemption and finding yourself all over again. Considering this to J.A's first MM romance, I will say that she created an amazing, heartbreaking story. Go read it!

I absolutely enjoyed Louis's story. It was a love story that will make you emotional. The feels from this book just blew me away! I also loved what Nora's brilliant humour brought to the book, I laughed a lot and would dearly love to have a friend like her!I wanted to give both Harry and Louis a big hug for what they go through. Not to forget the sex scenes are scorching HOT!! The author has done a fantastic job on this book and I really cannot wait for more from her. This series is definitely a must read.

4.5 StarsI have to say that after the first book in this series, I didn't know if this book could hold up to my expectations.... but it did! Although the first book was M/F and this one was M/M, they still worked as the same series. There is a lot of suspense in this book because of Louis' health. It kept me on edge and reading as fast as I could because I simply needed to know how things were going to go, not just for Louis and his medical issues, but for the couple. Both men have issues in their life that have made them the way they are and it was great watching them bond and learn to work through everything together. There are some really great secondary characters in this book. I loved the spunky sidekick, Nora. She was great. Then there was Gabriel. He was not only sexy, but a great friend. This book has some really sexy and hot scenes between Louis and Harry, but I would expect nothing less from a book by Ms. Melville. Now for the half a star reduction I gave... There was a bit of insta love that happened and I'm not a huge fan of that. Also there were times when there were phrases or lines that were repeated by characters unnecessarily and it was distracting from the flow of the story. However, those were the only two things I didn't like in the whole story.

WARNING:::::::::: do not read if you do not like a book that will have you emtionally invested in it. This definitely one of those books.I found myself in such an emotional state reading this book. And it was not just one emotion either it was several different ones. I found myself laughing at Nora and Harry and their bickering back and forth. I wanted to strangle Louis for being so dang hard headed. I cried for both Louis and Harry for the medical and emotional turmoil they was going through. And I found that feared that Harry was going to lose Louis on a few different occasions. This book completely engrossed me and wrapped itself around me until I felt like I was part of this book.Louis and Harry both made fall in love with them. Their characters was just spit in for this book and they made each other while on so many different levels. This is definitely a book that I recommend others to read and dare them to say that it did not affect them. J.A. Melville did a superb job and should definitely be proud of this book. Was given this book for free from inked rainbow reads for an honest review

I LOVED the first book in the Dial A Stud series. This book I was already excited for and then I found out it was M/M and I became even more intrigued! I loved the emotion in this book. The pull between the two characters was undeniable and I LOVED watching them 'heal' on another. Both struggled with self-depreciating issues and Louis struggled to let anyone in. He knew that Harry was the one person who could either help him or destroy him, thing is, it was his choice as to which he would allow. The relationships were real. The emotions strong. The way life was handled was honest. Wonderful second installment by Ms. Melville! Loved it from the first word to the last. I couldn't put it down!
